Tours of Newington Green Meeting House

  • Newington Green Meeting House 39A Newington Green London, England, N16 9PR United Kingdom (map)

Come and explore our elegantly renovated building and learn about the fascinating people and events that shaped its revolutionary history!

Newington Green Meeting House has re-opened to the public after extensive restorative build work. For the first time, the building is open to the public with tours, developed and delivered by volunteers who can share with you the history, stories and people of the building and local area. Learn more about the building and its inhabitants' radical history, pioneering architecture and revolutionary ideas.

Tours are approximately 30 minutes long and then you are free to explore the space, exhibitions and audio guide yourselves. The building is fully wheelchair accessible. Please help us cater the tour towards your interest and needs of the group by answering all the questions when booking. Tours happen at 2pm and 5pm on the last Friday of each month.

The minimum donation is £1 and the suggested £5. All contributions will go towards the continuation of the heritage project at Newington Green Meeting House. If you are unable to make a donation then please email banu@new-unity.org or drop in between 12pm - 6pm Thursdays and Fridays. Thank you!

We also have craft activities for kids! Ask at the reception to see what is happening this week. No need to book - just pop in!

If you are a congregant or aware of the history but just want to see the restored building/exhibition you can pop in between 12pm- 6pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

We hope you enjoy the tour!
